The Feel of GT

When you’re behind the wheel of a Forte GT, something incredible happens. The engine comes to life, the exhaust roars, the steering wheel feels like an extension of your body. The Forte GT isn’t just a car, it’s an experience. The only way to understand it is to drive it.

Powertrain

The heart of the Forte GT is a 201 horsepower turbocharged engine, which puts down 195 lb.-ft. of torque through available Michelin® Pilot® Sport 4 Summer Tires and features a Sport-Tuned Dual Exhaust system.

Performance Transmissions

Forte GT’s standard 7-speed quick-shifting Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT) allows the turbocharged engine’s powerband to be controlled via the steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters. Or, opt for three-pedal driving with the available 6-Speed Manual Transmission.

Exterior Accents

Make your presence known with Forte GT’s red grille inserts and rear diffuser accents. The glossy black mirror caps, side sills, rear lip spoiler, and 18-inch Alloy wheels give Forte GT a sleek and sporty look.

Interior Details

Interior details include a sport designed steering wheel, combination SynTex seating material and cloth seat trim with red stitching, and ambient lighting with an illuminated “GT” logo on the dash. Also enjoy updated technology including a 10.25-inch Touchscreen with Navigation, Kia Connect, and SiriusXM® Satellite Radio.

With updated upper and lower grills, a new front bumper, and available 16-inch, 17-inch and 18-inch wheels, the Forte’s front has a sporty and powerful look.

Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist w/ Pedestrian Detection

Designed to help mitigate or even help avoid an accident, the standard FCA-Ped system can help apply the brakes in certain situations to help prevent some imminent frontal collisions.

Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist-Rear

BCA is an optional technology that can apply the brakes to help correct and avoid accidents if it detects a vehicle in your blind-spot.

Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist

Optional RCCA scans for oncoming obstacles as you back up. If the system detects a potential hazard crossing into your intended path, it activates audio and/or visual warnings and possible braking intervention.

Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control-Curve with Highway Drive Assist

Optional NSCC-C automatically adjusts to maintain the driver’s pre-set speed and to keep a safe distance from the vehicle traveling directly ahead, as well as adjusts speed for curves ahead. On highways where information is available, optional HDA can control the vehicle’s steering, acceleration and deceleration functions.

Lane Keeping Assist and Lane Following Assist

Standard on all Forte trims, the LKA system can apply a slight steering correction in certain circumstances to help bring the vehicle back into the lane while LFA monitors lane markings to help keep the vehicle centered in its lane.
